Our CD rates are based upon non-compounding, simple interest. Annual percentage yield ("APY") is expressed on the assumption that investment terms under one year are rolled over at the prevailing rate to complete a one-year investment. Penalties may be incurred for early withdrawal.

Metropolitan National Bank ATM and debit cardholders pay no Metropolitan National Bank fees to use any ATM worldwide, and any "foreign" ATM fees charged by owners of ATMs other than Metropolitan National Bank are rebated.
Metropolitan National Bank has chosen not to participate in the FDIC's Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Customers of Metropolitan National Bank with non interest-bearing transaction accounts will continue to be insured through December 31, 2009 for up to $250,000 under the FDIC's general deposit insurance rules.
